I have had my raptors on my boat for roughly 6 months and couldnt be happier. The one complaint I have is the stomp switch sucks, I have to push it multiple times to get the raptors to deploy sometimes. I spoke with a rep at the classic about it and he seemed to agree so maybe they will redesign that piece. My talons were better there. I installed the raptors myself and it was overall pretty easy and straight forward. In my opinion they look better than blades and are built stronger. I completely understand the power pole following because of their customer service but Minn Kota has never done me wrong with a warranty issue either. I am in NW Louisiana and the bottoms are probably 6'' to a 1' of muck. The raptor has no issues pulling out of it.

Jiff7210 Thank you for your input. That's the type of feedback I'm looking for.

How long did the install take?.

I had it done before the afternoon. I was working by myself and my boat did not have the holes drilled for hydro lines as I previously had talons. I just followed the instructions and found it super simple (I am an aircraft mechanic by trade). Make sure to follow the pump prime/bleed procedure by the book, that was the only problem I had and it was my own fault. Once they are installed it has you hit the lake and extend/retract multiple times in deep water. Let me know if you have more specific questions on the install.

Has anyone put Raptors on a Ranger 2019 Z519? If so did the port side pole interfere with the ladder?

I have Power Poles. Have never had Raptors.
No issues with the PPs.
Love the PP batter charger system with four output banks and bluetooth ap.
I have the PPs linked to hot buttons on the Ghost foot control.
As mentioned by someone else, never use the icon on the Lowrance units.
Do sometimes wear the the little actuator fob around my neck.

My PPs are on mount brackets attached to the sides of the jack plate.
This is on a 21' Triton. Hard to see how it would interfere with a Ranger ladder.

I am sure the Raptor is a good product, in no way would I buy either of them just because they were the same brand as my electronics. I have had several sets of PP's, have no reason to try another brand.

Does anyone have Raptors on a Ranger Z519? Or any fiberglass hull Ranger?
