Very cool I think they and angel fish are the best aquarium freshwater fish by far.

I had Angel fish with Discus a few years ago. Shockingly, they did not get along. So, I have focused on Discus,
they have great personalities and will eat out of my hand and let me pet them. Discus are much harder to keep than
Angel fish though. Most people that keep Discus do not put plants or substrate in their tanks. I think if defeats the purpose
of having a tank. but, also makes it harder keeping them. Water changes either 25% every day. I do about 50-60% every two
to three days and an 80% on weekends.

Beautiful! I admire your dedication. I always loved Discus when I kept an aquarium as a hobby...but not enough to deal with their delicate nature!

That’s a beautiful aquarium-
I bet it’s peaceful to sit and just stare at the tank-

What has happed to you does not define who you are-

HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!

Very good question. Water quality can turn in an instant. The Discus are prema-Donna’s
I can push the water changes to two weeks. But, after that
They will get fin rot, icy and any other sickness related to water
quality. I have an FX6 canister filter and two sponge filters.

I've always like aquariums, and I have a few fish bowls right now.

You have a 200 Gallon "built-in" tank.

Could you stand back and take a full shot of the aquarium?
I'm interested to see the big picture.
