Been getting tips here and there from all you experienced anglers so I really appreciate it.
Read about thumping with broom handles or buying a thumper for 2-3 hundred dollars. Decided to go the third route with my bass drum pedal.
I might be a believer in thumping. Spot locked on 1 school at 35 ft and landed 75 there and left them biting. Went drifting for catfish with no luck. Saw a couple schools of what I thought were white bass swim under while I was drifting, so I threw down a slab to confirm and this brought my total number to 77.
If any of you belton pros want to share some catfish tips, please let me know! Thanks!
Check out the info on the "redneck thumper". Works real good.. On my Pc it is page 2, on the Grapevine 2021 thread.. Free if you have a bluetooth speaker
It is good to know that you are progressing with lake knowledge. Learn about splashers and wait on the thumper. Thumpers works better when the lake water is cooler. You have my number and you can call me for details if you want more help.
