Thinking of giving Buchanan a try for striper. Anyone with experience want to come along and help a striper newbie? Or anyone care to point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance!

This is my favorite time of year to fish Buch. Before first light go wait out in front of the dam with binos wait and glass for them to come up on top. Get out in front of the school and ease to them with trolling motor. If they don't come up on top go check out humps in 20-30ft range. Search until you find them. I fish live bait but you can jig them up as well. Thumping works awesome this time of year.
