Those Mad Katz rods are sick! I want to see that prototype Mul-T-Bar at the get together.

I am about 2 pay checks away from getting my new chart with a triple shot transducer. I was hoping to have it for the get together but I will have to wait a little longer. Can't wait to have that 12" display and the side imaging!

The wind was welcome after the weeks of dead flat calm and no bite! I had pretty good success early on Saturday on Lavon. Had a few 10s, a teener and a 22. Not too bad considering. After the rains last night and the forecast this week, I can't wait to get back out there.

Picked up the boat yesterday from the mechanic and itโ€™s good to go. MulTbars arrived yesterday and are going on this evening. The adjustable knobs were not completely finished on the bars so I will have to wait another week before they arrive but I he sent temporary hex socket bolts that will lock them in place until the adjustable ones get here. Then Iโ€™m loading the boat and it will finally be ready to fish. Weโ€™ll be hitting the water Sunday morning at sunrise and see if we remember how to catch fish! Itโ€™s been 30 yrs since Iโ€™ve gone this long without a boat. Itโ€™s been painful for both me and my son!

This has been the longest week waiting for the cold front and Saturday! I am ready to drag some big baits and catch some pigs! Just had my new 11970 delivered today too!

I am really looking forward to the weekend with this cold front coming through today. I snuck out for about an hour and a half at lunch yesterday and once the wind kicked up a little bit, I got bit. Had a really nice double on the planer boards. Ended up being a 10 and a 20 pounder...

Nice ones Tim! Weโ€™re fishing Sunday and forecast says 5 mph wind๐Ÿ‘Ž It was forecast for 15mph when I checked it yesterday which had me envisioning Jaxon hugging big fish. Now Iโ€™m not feeling as optimistic and I know weโ€™re gonna have to grind just to put some fish in the boat! Ready to put in work regardless!

Nice ones, Tim!!

I was also on Lake Lavon yesterday, and at one stage was fishing the same area as Tim. A lesson for me. We were both drifting the same general area, and after no bites I decided to bail and go home (been fishing since the first light).

Tim hooked those fish after I bailed, so patience (and technique) paid off.

I did catch a couple of dinks earlier.

The water temp is still @ 75F fyi. The forecast was 10-15mph, gusting to 20mph. Mid morning and the lake was mirror smooth, no wind at all.

Rain is a coming!
