October baseball is the best. Your AL West Champions, the Houston Astros, kick off their post season run this afternoon with first pitch from the juice box at 3:07. Lance McCullers Jr. is on the mound and hopefully brings the nasty curveball today. White Sox are putting Lance Lynn on the mound instead of Giolito. Giolito has been tough on the Astros and will have the ball in game two against Framber Valdez. My series predictions; Houston takes the series 3-1.

I grew up listening to every game Jim Wynn, Bob Watson, Doug Rader, Don Wilson, and Larry Dierker played on KWKH radio. There weren't any playoff runs back then. I hope another one starts today. Go Astros!
