It's going to be a mess coming out of the river Saturday morning, I don't want to be anywhere near that.

OMG....Boats everywhere this morning. What a cluster LOL! Good luck to you guys. Fishing is going to be tough for a lot of people, the lake has taken a beating the last few weeks, but I bet it still takes over 50# for the win. My guess 52#. The lake and ramp area are too small for that many teams IMO. Oh, and I think it will take somewhere in the low to mid 30# range to take the trophy We could not find a room close enough to the lake so we bailed and are spending the time here on Rayburn instead. Nothing against Champs as we love fishing with them. We just threw out an audible instead. How small...and straight fishing, no frills that place was was a big reason why I dug it so much. Its in the middle of nowhere and has that vibe while you are there. I was there during the madness....Id definitely not want to be around for a tourney like this. I can imagine the rooms and ramps are packed to the gills

You could walk from boat to boat in the area in front of my house, glad I’m not involved in this deal. Saw a boat at the gas station with no lower unit.... he said” those trees are hard as hell”. You should be selling beer for everyone pounding lunker isle and the junk pile!

Day 3 of practice tomorrow. It’s def crowded but this lake has some absolute giants and got to see one today. Somebody will figure them out. It’s gonna take a sack. Lots and lots of 2 pounders with the occasional big fish. Healthy lake but yes very very crowded. It’s been a fun experience. Thanks to jersey Dan he has us in great accommodations . Just got done grilling and watching the game and drinking a cold beer on his patio. Good luck to all the teams. This lake reminds me as if squaw creek and falcon had a baby and you mixed in some Real big ones.

The early fall on Ivie can be really tough. The later in the year it gets and the cooler it gets, the better. The spring is the better time to be here though. You have fish in all different stages in March.
