Got my first Moderna shot today. Not sure why I held out so long. Was somewhat concerned about long-term effects, but after watching so many prayer requests here and Elizabeth taking the shot, I decided to go ahead and do it. I'm pretty sure I had Covid last year since my taste buds went through a totally unexplained alteration that still has not resolved itself.

I've had three tests since this started. Two came back negative and one required a retest.

I guess you could have classified me as a borderline anti-vaxxer for the last year or so.

This took courage.

Folks I knew dying pushed me to get it last week.

I have a doctors appt in the morning and I know she is going to roust me about this dam vaccine

I got both February and March....I have been accidentally close contact exposed recently 3 times including last week....covid results back today were negative.....now I take zinc, D3, Mega C, and some other things as a habit for years....but I think I got some extra margin of safety with the vaccine

I didn't want to get the shot for the longest, but I could tell my sister (a nurse) was seriously worried about me not taking it. Glad I did once I got through ok on the first shot. Took the second one 6 weeks later. Not taking the booster.

I've seen three doctors since the beginning of August. Not one of them has mentioned it to me. Nor anything even about covid. I'm 46.

JK. The wife and I got ours not to long ago. Moderna was our choice as well. We are going 90 days between shots on the recommendation of a doctor
my wife knows that is very well known. If I would have known then what I know now I would have gotten antibody testing done.
I'm positive I got it pretty bad in Feb. 2020. We had just gotten back from Hawaii and I really don't remember the month of March. You are
27 times more protected by having natural immunity than any shot you could take.

I’ve been holding off getting it as well. 56 and no pre-existing conditions that seem to greatly increase risk of dying from COVID. I’m not buying into all the conspiracy theories, but have seen enough evidence of healthy people dying of it that’s convinced me I prob should get it. I just want the choice to do so and not have it mandated. That is all.
