We have talked with Cashiers at Walmart, Krogers, and Home Depot over the last 4 weeks. At any given time there are maybe 1 or 2 cashiers and 10 or more empty register aisles. ALL of them have told us they cannot get anyone to work, either as cashiers or as stock clerks. AND they say, they have increased health and other company benefits and pay up and over $16 per hour. Krogers said they have warehouses full of product, but no one to stock the shelves.
Well, thank you demotards for providing the incentive for useless slugs to stay home and collect the gubmint check.

What this is all leading to is this country will be forced back to local based economies.
Independent merchants will start coming back and will rely on what is locally produced to stock their stores. No more reliance on a vast, problematic transportation network to deliver tomatoes from Mexico to Maine in the middle of winter.
It’ll be like America in the the 1940s.

Gatorade is tough to find. You can find that new yankee Dingaling beer everywhere though.

Tom Thumb in Hurst has had some trouble getting supplies. Dairy case was almost empty, some shelves only have 1 or 2 deep in product, others are completely out. I asked the cashier about it and she said that distribution is having to spread what they can get across all the stores. I saw that Fox was saying that TP was going to go on short supply again. Better stock up.

If you have any idea what you want to buy people for Christmas, do it now. The last couple of years the popular items were sold out by Dec. 1. This year will be worse.

people at Walmart,...no cashiers. Self check is the norm says the wife, I wont go inside anymore. Buy one get one? I figure I make right around $50 an hour. 30 minutes in line and checking myself out = about $25 worth of free senkos. Screw Walmart.

We had a shortage of distilled water a few weeks back as the local hospital was putting more covid people on CPAP machines. Stores have stayed pretty stocked here. Biggest shortages in town remain new autos and appliances. Are they putting the on CPAP machines because they are out of ventilators? I thought CPAPs are for people with sleep apnea. I see outages every time I go to Wal Mart. Wal Mart purchasing agents were clueless even before Covid. Last time is was 75-90 gear oil. They had 2 80-90.

I believe this has been discussed. Out of all kinds of stuff cause lazy mfrs wont go back to work. I talk to my supplier twice a week regarding what they are out of. In the last 2 weeks we have been outed on 20 skus, it's really worse than that cause some stuff we didnt order at all because they havent had it in months and we dont even waste our time trying.
