I use buildertrend but I choose list because I don't like the gantt on there. But when i fill out my job calendar i draw arrows across in gantt form.

I used #15 fairly frequently but no more.

Our outages are planned off of Gantt charts and it’s a cluster F

Had to use them when I studied project management. Done right they are useful and have a purpose.

I used to use them all the time. Really helped me stay organized and think things out. The chart section was good for show & tell fluff at project meetings.

They're pretty common in construction. That's always how project schedules are provided, at least in my experience.

The place I retried from used (Primavera P6) to make their schedules. The company before that where I was a Shutdown Planner for a few years used one called (Time Line). Both are or were good tools, but no better than the crew/foreman that was assigned to the job task. A good group would get you ahead of schedule, a bad group would get your hours or days behind.
Sure glad that is all behind me and I am retired. I am on the, when I get around to it schedule now.

I used them all the time as a defense contractor program and project manager. Our company was certified by the PMI for program and project management so it became a regular part of in house training. Getting everybody trained and accepting the process was a major pain, but our customers really liked the process.
