Straight from TPWD.

Guess I was a little slower than the people above me.

bow fishing is done on top of the water. snagging is done through and under the water and the fish are usually not visible. bow fishermen take great patientce and aim to hit a fish on top of the water. They are usually 100% sure of their targets. Im sure accidents happen, but everyone gill hooks an undersized hybrid from time to time on accident.
Snagging is just jerking and praying.

If I remove the poison dart, could you please, please suck out the poison???

Yea Ok.

We get the idea. If it's illegal ( I did not know it was for "non-game" species) then by all means that's fine to say it. Do we have to see it on every thread?

We get it

Then read around it. If you saw someone you knew on here driving their boat dangerously, would you call them out on it.

Let's see, a poacher is openly posting his tactics and catches, and we should just hush. I see.

While there I noticed a fellow TFFer fishing. This individuals screen name on the forum is Fishist. He had a long stringer of smallmouth buffalo, so i decided to watch how he was catching them out of curiosity. I had never fished so I found it interesting to see how it was done. The way Fishist catches smallmouth buffalo is by rigging a snag lin consistant of 3 treble hooks about 8 inches apart and what looked like 2 oz. of lead weight at the end of his line and tries to snagg them. He is very sucessful at this. I would have called the game warrden but I forgot my cell phone at the house. I figured this was the next best thing. Fishist, quit poaching and learn how to catch fish the sportmans way, the right way, the legal way!

"He Is Very Sucessful At This" LOL
Half The Stringer Wasnt Mine, I Snagged Maby 2 Fish, And Before You Go Telling Everyone That I Snag Fish, You Need To Make Sure You Got The Story Right, Cuz Your Story Is A Little Too Much.

Then contact your legislator. In the meantime, you need to cease the snagging, dude.
