Alright, need some opinions. I have two days of vacation to burn before I lose it so I'm going to take a 4 day weekend sometime in October. Probably just end up camping but would prefer a camp spot with power so I could charge the boat. My first thought was Fork, maybe even Rayburn but wanted some input on other lakes that would be a nice little 4 day get away.

I say either Lake Murray or Broken Bow in OK, or maybe even Lawtonka. Lawtonka has some giant brownies that many people don't even know about.

Man Iโm gonna be honest with you, Fork would have plenty of nice cabins and hotels but the fishing is tough and itโs going to stay just as tough for a while longer. If I were you I would hit Rayburn because of the nicer accommodations and potentially bigger bass on a regular basis

Okie I moved here from South Carolina back in January, if I had 7 days I'd probably make the trip to Murray or Santee!

I'd probably go to Pines. Good campsites with electric at Johnson park.

I sure wouldn't go to Lake Murray. That lake has a million smallmouth under 10".

Camping at Toledo or Rayburn and fishing both sounds nice. Camping at Eisenhower on Texoma is nice too and the lake is great in October for several species. Purtis creek is also a beautiful place to camp with Athens, Ceder Creek, and then the lakes up in the Canton neck of the woods all close by. Man Texas is an awesome place for a fisherman to live!
See you on the lake and have a great day!
