Ohhh myyy….just got back home from a work trip and was glad to hear last news was good….PRAYERS FOR SKEETERS FAMILY…..SUCH A GOOD GUY
this makes my heart hurt….especially when planning on going up to Fork next weekend

Tough news to hear. Only spent one day fishing with him. You could tell he was a solid guy. We didn’t catch them as good as he would have liked and he had a later bite. We quit before he did. He wanted to be sure we got everything he could give. He was recommended to us by none other than Mark Pack. They will meet again.

He’s been in our prayers, I has sure his strength would prevail. Very sad news.
I ran into Skeeter numerous times at various tournaments over the years. I got to know him best when our softball sponsor brought him out for a “tryout” in the late 80’s. I had the task of talking life and “ball” with him to see if he was a fit for the team. He was young, confident, with a good attitude and could handle the bat and glove well. He fit in and helped us win a state championship and 2nd place at nationals later that year. He only played a few months with us the following year, the travel to Dallas for 3 leagues and weekend tournaments out of state got in the way of fishing.
God bless his soul and give the Fowler family peace.
