Who do y'all use for boat insurance? I am going to have to fire Allstate because I bought a new truck and their rates are outrageous despite no accidents. I got a great rate for home and auto through an agent but the boat insurance is through progressive and I have heard horror stories.

I have Progressive. I changed after Safeco went up $100. I cut by rate by over 1/2. Fortunately I have had to file a claim. My ex had Progressive on a car that I was in the process of transferring. The police report put her on the wrong street. An illegal alien with a passenger ran a red light. The passenger claimed injuries and hired a lawyer. The first one dropped the case. Then she found another. Progressive handled the whole thing very well. Totalled the vehicle and paid me off even with the unfavorable police report. Ex had liability only but they paid under uninsured motorist.
