Don't thinks so, Cox would just be given a zero but I don't see him not fishing it, the Classic pays way more than a BPT regular season win and thats not including the press and endorsements you would get.

I kinda wonder if BPT will even allow him to fish both again. They scheduled on top of the Classic and had to know they were. I think there are 3 total schedule conflicts between Elites and BPT next year.

Actually there is more than that BPT #1/Elite #1 one day overlaps, BPT #2/Elite #2 two days overlap, BPT #3/Classic all three days overlap, BPT #5/Elite #4 two days overlap, BPT #7/Elite #6 two days overlap, and TWPC Championship/Elite #7 four days overlap.

He gave very little effort to fish the Classic this year. With all the conflicts of schedule I could see him dropping one of the trails.

The schedule looks good I like the different lakes. As for the conflicts as a fan I would have to agree it is a bad deal but as a realist that has worked for large RV dealers for 30 plus years and deal with competition for customers and or supporters with other dealers and suppliers I will state that every business I know will on purpose go head to head with their competition and never work together is just how the world works. We aren't aloud to even say the name of other dealers in the area you make it all about yourself.

Besides Cox, who really cares about conflicting schedules? I thought the lines have been drawn?

The anglers should care, when you have two Tour winners in the same week it takes half the press and spotlight and sponsorship attention off the guys who win. As a fan of the live streaming I care, I don't watch the TV shows they make afterwards, does BASS even do those anymore?, I know MLFLW still does. I want to see what happens in real time and this makes you choose one or the other mostly. I will generally pick BPT over BASS over Pro circuit over NPFL unless one is fishing a Texas lake then that gets priority.

The first day of the Heavy hitters on Palestine is a THSBA regional event. Be 200+ boats in that event.

After releasing their schedule 6 months after the THSBA released their schedule, they called yesterday asking if we (THSBA) would consider moving or changing our Regional Championship on Lake Palestine. The answer was no. We will still be having our Regional on Lake Palestine on April 9, 2022. Their concern is that our teams will “beat the lake up” thus not making for good TV for their viewers.

The MLF Heavy Hitters will have 15 anglers on the water each day. With their field being that small, they can utilize smaller lakes in the area if they choose to do so, whereas our 220+ boat field for that day can’t just up and move wherever.

If the tables were turned and we asked them to move their event after they were scheduled on Palestine first, we all know they would have told us no as well.

Good for you. Any attempt to reschedule the THSBA event would just conflict with something else. I'm amazed that MLF waits this late to confirm their schedule. They are correct. The lake will be beat up, but Palestine usually fishes good that time of year. You would think that the best anglers on planet earth would be able to figure it out.

Good for you Tim and THSBA. I have also been involved in decisions like this. And like you said, it's quite simple ........ "Would they do it for us?" Most of the time that answer is a resounding "NO".

Everything on your bass boat is broken......You just don't know it yet.

apparently they don't like anglers fishing both events.

Looks like I will be missing even more of BPT since they overlap BASS . BASS is still the king .
