We have recieved zero info from TABC regarding carrying in establishments with alcohol. You would think they would clarify their rules and blue and red sign requirements.

Both His thumb is too high for single dominant hand grip. He has close to zero cat control.

The way I read it is the following: You CANNOT carry in a bar, but a place that sells food and adult beverages is not considered a bar. Private establishments can post a sign banning the carry inside as well. But there's no rule that illustrates Bar & Grill type establishments. It should read something like...any establishment that has a sale of alcohol is prohibited. Or something like that.

I predict it will be just like open carry. Won't see any pistols carried except at protests at the capitol building grounds.

If your establishment makes more than 50 % if it's revenue from sales of alcohol you are considered a bar that sells food and requires different, specific, permits.

One is a felony, one is a misdemeanor, the wording is unlicensed on the notice. Its would seem like with a liscense no longer required this would change things, that said things would surprise me less than the tabc walking in and hammering an establishment for having "unlicensed " people carrying in the place. The you go off to tabc administration court which is neither pleasant nor fair since they are the judge jury and executioner all in one.
