I sprung a leak today. It was dripping pretty good from where the shaft goes into the cylinder. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ Is there a way to know what I need to fix? Is it just the end caps? 2008 Merc Verado 150

My Seastar hydraulic cylinder developed a leak in the same place, it is the seal that has gone out. The kit I purchased looks like the one below. You will have to locate the kit for your Mercury unit. It took longer to get all of the air out, than it did to change the ends with the seals and O-Rings. Good luck, there are lots of video on U-Tube on how to change them.
