They need to make a few on 20 between FTW and Midland. ^^ Agree They could call them Trucees, with nasty showers, a chrome shop behind it, install cb radios, lot lizards, homeless people and bums sitting around, pot holes in the entrances, trash all over and a nasty Buffett.... nevermind they have 4 or 5 like that already. Now you're talking! I'd feel right at home there.

I know when the one in Melissa opened they said on the news up here it would generate about $25M in tax revenue a month. Yes per MONTH. There are some clarifications needed here. Tax revenue for Melissa from Buccees would be primarily from sales tax, which is 2% for local taxes. To get that monthly figure, the store would have to have $1.25 BILLION in monthly sales. Taxable sales may reach $25 million/ month. But that would mean tax revenue of $500,000.

There are state and Fed taxes on fuel as well, but some items would still be non taxable... not sure exactly how the math works out, but they are packed all day at Melissa . I talked to a fellow at the Denton location and he said they are the slowest location. It is also close to my house, so I am Buc-ee lucky....
