Some days you are the dog, some days you are the hydrant! Today started out a dinkfest! Those 8-10 inch finger stickers had me working harder than a 2 dollar stripper on nickel night! Great fish were in the same area yesterday, but they headed yonder way. Made a move across the lake to an area that really hasn’t been on fire, but we didn’t have much to lose with only 16 keepers in the box at the time. Well, we did the right thing . Let Sammy Spin and his best gal Paige went to catching some better fish. Man I was relieved. Sammy has fished with me several times before and we have always put the smack down on them. Ended up with a nice table of fish on a hot day with no wind. Makes fishing tough. Excuses are for somebody else. We adapted to,and overcame ! Stubby’s Cheesebait in 31 feet today. Thanks for coming out again. I enjoy sharing the boat with you and Paige.
