Not sure why people don't just take the vaccine. I haven't heard anyone ask for prayers for a single person that has been vaccinated and fallen ill from taking it.
It's a shot. Maybe it improves your chances by 80%. Why not improve your chances of living if you get COVID?
I hope he makes it. I hope this thread gets some people to go get a shot. you are a cold hearted person. Many people cant get the shot due to medical reasons. Right now I know 4 people hospitalized that are fully vaccinated and have been for quite some time. The shot is not a fix all, can it reduce the odds of getting extremely sick yes, but it does not eliminate it. Right now Skeeter is sick and needs prayers, no matter if he is vaccinated or not and for you to come on here and basically not care that he is sick and make this post into a get vaccinated past is cold, heartless and for sure not the Christian thing to do

If the vaccine was an end all then the vaccine would not been getting worse.. Oh and before you say I am wrong my wife in a NP and deal wit it everyday. Praying for Skeeter.. Lord your will be done..

Public service message. The vaccine, for those able to take it, does generally reduce the severity when you contract it. I know people that are vaccinated that have Covid now. On the flip side, my unvaccinated daughter and her family had a fairly mild case.
And my cousin, who is vaccinated, is going to the hospital today with a severe case. So the vaccine is helpful but not a sure thing by any means.
What's more important is the treatment protocol, and unfortunately it is very hard to get effective treatment here in U.S. hospitals. You're stuck with remdesivir administered too late and dexamethasone, a poor choice of corticosteroid. And that's pitiful. Doctors have become mechanics, they're sticking with this hit or miss treatment. We deserve better.
I'll continue praying for Skeeter and others and for the NIH and FDA to allow doctors to practice medicine the way they were trained.

WLBDALLAS you need to take that [censored] somewhere else very disrespectful You know folks have hit an all time low when they use a TFF'er being in the hospital as a platform to push their vaccine agenda. Totally tasteless. Get well soon Skeeter!

I'll continue praying for Skeeter and others and for the NIH and FDA to allow doctors to practice medicine the way they were trained. Prayers, prayers, and more prayers for Skeeter and all those fighting covid. I don't know skeeter well but every time I have met him was for a cause that he was leading to assist someone else in need. He tends to be at the forefront of so many things to help other people. Man what a wonderful thing to be known for. I just think what Steve III said is so very important. He is so right in regard to the treatment protocol for this virus. There simply isn't one. The medical world has many hard working caring people, but the powers that end up making most of the decisions have let the American people down. They have let politics lead their medical decision making process. Every resource has been put toward the vaccine and very little has been put into developing functional therapeutic drugs to treat this virus. It's so bad that most family doctors response to a patient with covid symptoms is to tell them to go somewhere else and get tested. Then if you are positive their treatment protocol is to tell you to go home and if you get to where you can't breathe go to the hospital. That's pretty sad in my opinion. The only valid treatment that we have at the moment is the remdesivir and it needs to be administered early in the disease to be effective. At bare minimum our politicians and doctors should be pushing for every family practice, ER, urgent care, and hospital to be fully stocked with remdesivir and it should be offered the second you get a positive covid test. Maybe if we put more effort into the goal of getting monoclonal antibody therapy in every Dr's office in America instead of spending all our time bitching at each other about a stupid mask we could actually save some lives. Sorry for the rant but I'm sick of this nonsense.

Prayers for Skeeter.
If you know anyone that has risk factors they should get the Regeneron Monocolnal Infusion. My wife’s dad and mom tested positive. Her dad has several significant risk factors such as emphysema and on oxygen. They both got the infusion. Mom is doing good. It put Dad in the hospital but with his risk factors it could have been worse. Still not out of the woods yet but looking good at this point.

At my wife's hospital they are giving them remdesivir early and it is not working..My wife's hospital does not have Regeneron and that is the problem.. Most here in DFW do not get the right treatment.. Please keep praying.. Take D3 with zinc and vitamin c and that helps before you get it... You need a strong immune system..Lord please do not let Sketter go on a vent..
