Thanks Gato! I know that’s right. Hopefully we find some goods ones. I’m still learning how to read my graph and also where to fish. Points, drop offs, creek channels etc. I think really what I need to focus on is how to read the contour lines and what they actually mean. It’s a work in progress but more time on the water I can get the better! Thanks again!

Bluecatn ain’t easy and if you start having some success it will become a lifelong quest to get better Ray. Improving with each trip is the name of the game! Go get em!!

Latest update on the Benbrook trip…./so for starters after we got the tent almost up the park rangers told us there was no camping allowed at mustang park and it was a day use park only. 🙄

We picked up our tent to head over to the next park over where camping was allowed and the battery on my truck was dead from using the headlights to set up the tent.(I goofed that one) after walking around about an hour down to the boat ramp from the camp site looking for someone to jump us off we finally found someone. Unfortunately by that time the park where we could camp closed at 10 and it was about 10:15 so we went home. Sheesh! I’ll be coming for those cats directly after dove season I guess!!!!
