A children’s hospital, Don’t get me wrong I understand but I just hate the fact that they’re forcing people to do this because what is next. I don’t mind saying I am vaccinated and I don’t hold it against anybody that’s not. I necessarily didn’t want to, but I figured I’m already bald fat and don’t plan on having any children so I should be OK. Figured insurance wouldn’t cover us in the future and you can kind of see the writing on the wall

All the “lockdowns” did last time was kill business and jack up prices on everything when they “lifted” . It it’s killing the economy and scaring the daylights out of “Americans” . It’s [censored] [censored] a lockdown [censored] Biden [censored] masks [censored] the vaccine [censored] China . Everybody wants to be so “woke” we’ll wake up your fixin to be [censored] yourself if you are not already in a bind . It’s putting us in a position to be easy targets for our own government to control and dictate everything in your day to day life . And if not our own people it would make it super easy for another country to take advantage of the situation . I try to stay off these covid threads but god damn y’all make it hard Nickbyrd for mother [censored] President in mother [censored] 2024. So awesome to see a youngster who gets it. Work just said get vaccine or get lost. Maybe we will have a decal on our clothes soon. I feel this should be a personal choice. I do not begrudge anyone making their on choice but don’t force them, but that’s the Narrative Decal? How about a gold colored, 6 pointed star???

If the powers that be, and you can pick your "power", are this stupid and try another shutdown the economy will tank even worse than last time and it will be ugly. Yes we all know the virus is bad news, yes we all know them godless commies did this, and yes we know that not a da** thing will happen to them. If it tanks bad this time you will lose your boats, your trucks and maybe your homes....and make no mistake...it could happen to any or all of us. I'm about ready to finally retire so I don't need this sh** happening now..!!! I wish like many other people we had a solid solution as to how to deal with all of this..but we don't. Our leadership is out of touch, many people want something for nothing, and there is not enough to go around for everybody at this rate. There are lots of chat boards out there and ideas range from praying for help to starting a civil war. None of which will really solve or fix anything and will only make things worse.
If I was 30 years younger I would run for political office and try to effect change. But I ain't...and I've lost a step or two and admit it unlike biden...:) So all I can do is try and effect change at my local level, vote out the senile incumbents, and hope it doesn't get out of control...'cause I'm too old and tired to run anymore and old people can be real nasty if you pi** us off...:)
The mayors/county judges in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio and Austin want nothing more than to shut things down again. That is why Abbott has the executive order in place because just like last time he knows they get stupid with power and do dumb stuff. It's odd as other bigger cities like Ft. Worth does not have that problem. Why is it that cities like Waco, Longview, Tyler, etc are not crying about the executive order?

The poor will mostly always remain poor, thus they are excited about a few thousand dollars a year in "benefits". The big corps are the beneficiaries of that free money.
Lots of things seem intertwined

So who sets the numbers for when it's OK to.not mask up etc? What metrics do we have to hit?
My guess is the goalposts keep getting moved like always.

My work showed me a letter to give companies who require vaccines for all vendors. It basically say my company will not question its employee's vaccine status. If you choose not to allow our technicians to work on site, you will forfeit any contractual obligations. You will not be released of financial responsibilities. I don’t know of any places requiring it in this area, but the NE and West coasts have had technicians sent away.

I'll only get busier if people stay home. It's not a terrible thing but I do enjoy seeing my family.

Seriously, your company says their not going to work and then expect payment excuse me if I LOL. I hope your company has enough capital to keep paying you for not working.
