Wish I knew if any of them had COVID already. I had it in July of 2020 and identify as vaccinated.  All I hear about is either vaccinated or unvaccinated catching it. They never say anything about those of us who had it already and aren't catching it again.

Clausen reportedly posted that he is hospitalized as well. I have a friend whos husband had the vaccine and died from covid 2 days ago. I'll take my chances, your not smart to not get the vaccine especially if you have pre-existing conditions. I work medical and see it over and over bad delta cases for those not vaccinated, mild delta case for those that got the vaccine.

Oof the 'ol covid drop, I think Fritts was the only one that missed an event for covid on the Elite series this year. I wonder if any of them were vaccinated? Vaccinated or not you still will get it. Some worse then others. There’s no way not to get it period Yeah you still get it but you don’t get hospitalized like Shryock and Connell did, especially when young. Tell that to a friend of mine who's dad is on a vent right now with covid... he was vaccinated and it's not looking good for him at all. 1 in thousands, I bet he's got other health issues too right? This virus takes out the weak.

Billions and Billions of dollars spent on a virus with a well over a 99% survival rate (even using the massively inflated death toll) and a government that is pushing every American to be vaccinated immediately. I believe it is everyone's choice to do it or not but the math/numbers/massive pressure to do it doesn't add up. For those that have lost family or friends from it, my statements are NOT meant to say it isn't real or killing some....I know it is. Our response to the threat is disproportionate and I do NOT trust our government.
You might want to loosen your tin foil hat a little bit.

There is no "test" to identify the "delta variant", so to all the inner-webs scientists and doctors, how is it you know what "strain" of the covids that has infected a person?

There is no "test" to identify the "delta variant", so to all the inner-webs scientists and doctors, how is it you know what "strain" of the covids that has infected a person? Here is a video about the Delta variant if you're actually interested in finding out how/why the delta variant is being referenced so often. Genomic sequencing must be done to identify which "strain" of COVID-19 a person is infected with. These tests aren't typically performed the same way/place that antigen testing is done but the CDC and WHO do submit genomic sequencing to track how/if the virus is mutating. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jVneDKDuOhg&t=66s

Thus, I have never given a "song and dance" as your comment suggests. Just curious how local news can report with such certainly that "delta" is what is infecting people. Are the "migrants" that are coming over "clean"? They do come from filthy 3rd world countries with very poor healthcare and hygiene.

The one thing tvat jumps out at me of these 7 guys is 3 of the younger, more fit guys are sitting in hospital now trying to get through COVID. It's not just older people and those with underlying conditions getting serious cases of this mess.
No matter anyone's personal stance on COVID I wish everyone the best possible outcome in whatever they decide to do vaccine wise and I hope anyone getting COVID recovers as quickly and safely as possible.
