I would imagine in NYC, the people going out are from every state and every country in the world. What proof will be required? As far as I know, there is no worldwide universal vaccine card. Fraudulent vaccine cards will be as common as fake drivers license in a college town. This is a really bad idea and definitely a slippery slope.

Everyone here that I’ve talked to, including some that I believe are historically democrats, agrees that DeBlasio has screwed the city up. I have been in Chicago and now here in the past three weeks and from what I’ve seen give me Chicago any day. Chicago was cleaner than before the pandemic and the homeless were less than before. NYC is the opposite. Very dirty. I have been to both cities two or three times a year for the past 6 years. Chicago somehow got better and NYC has gone downhill.

I am fine with a privately owned business requiring it but not a government mandate requiring a vaccine passport. I go back to the uproar over the bakery refusing to bake a wedding cake for a guy couple. I supported his right to run his business as he saw first. For a private business this is no different. I don't like the idea of doing it but I damn sure respect his right to require it of his customers if he chooses. If I didn't then I would be a hypocritem

It's a crime punishable by up to 5,000 in fines and 5 years in prison. But yes, agree there will be a lot of fraud/attempted fraud out there. The folks facing the biggest penalties could be the ones selling them.
