Went crab spotting tonight with my son. Looking in the rocks, we found 1 hole of water where there were 5 fish about 2 inches long swimming upside down. I caught one with my hands. Pic is horrible, phone wouldn't focus with spot light on it. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2021/08/full-29800-105882-screenshot_20210802_215117_gallery.jpg)

Thanks. I Google and couldnt find any information about them being upside down, but I looked at the fish and it looks the same. Going to try tonight to find some more and get better photos. We ended up catching a blue crab about 3.5 inches, saw some assume stone crabs and some I assume sea anemia, they were silver dollar sized with pink or purple tentacles

So I caught one last night and got some better pics. Definitely looks like it could be a sea robin. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2021/08/full-29800-106053-20210803_203932.jpg)

It is hard to tell for sure without a good picture of the fins, but it appears to be a skilletfish (Gobiesox strumosus). Upside down swimming is usually an indication of a swim bladder problem. If they were in a pool there may have been water quality issues.
