It would be pretty funny if the SEC accepted OU and it’s tagalong brother OSU to make it an even 16 teams. That would leave UT out. It would serve them right. Yes it would

OU has the recruiting power and seems to attract good enough coaches to compete in the SEC.

Does not matter, Aggies rolling to National Championship victory regardless! Male cheerleading yes, any sport that matters would be a pipe dream like.

If it's true OU is probably pushing it and texas doesnt want to be left behind. I cant see texas leaving a conference they have basically called all the shots in and going to a conference that wont give a [censored] what they want to do. The conference clearly came out today saying they didn't care how aggie felt about....

No matter what the Soonage says, Texas owns the Big 12. In the SEC they would be just another program. Not gonna happen.

IMHO This is what the stumper is for me. Sooners and ut have the easiest path to a very high seed if they stay in the Big12 when they expand the playoff. I know it probably has more to do with money than anything else I was just reading A&M and Mizzu are going to vote no all they need is 2 other schools to vote no and then it's a no go for expansion with OU/ut

Neither OU or UT play defense well enough to have any success in the SEC.

I believe that okie lite has to go where OU does. That's what I thought as well. IF there is any truth to this Tech, TCU and BU are screwed. If I was Tech and TCU I'd be on the phone to the PAC12 seeing what the interest would be. I'm sure Bjork will fight like he77 to keep them out. SEC Network just said an announcement coming in 2 weeks about expansion, interesting. The reporter they just interviewed on Finebaum said he think it's going to happen from everything he's hearing. TCU will get an invite to Pac 12 I believe. Not sure about Tech. Baylor is the one that could get left out

What would the SEC gain by allowing them in? They seem to be doing fine without them. Money. Two of the biggest brands in college football.

Two of the biggest brands in college football. tu doesn’t add anything to the SEC, especially considering the longwhorne network. Texas has been irrelevant since Vince Young, and they’ve already smoked two conferences. Why would you let them in? I see OU and okie light being a bigger addition to the SEC than tu. But Oklahoma (the state) isn’t exactly south east…
