The 25th annual “Mad Dog” Moore Memorial Bass Tournament is scheduled for Saturday September 11, 2021 at Oak Ridge Marina, Lake Fork. This is a charity tournament (team tournament) benefiting the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital. Contestants will get a t-shirt, fishing towel, tackle pack and free BBQ while supplies last. There will be live entertainment and a large raffle open to the public at the weigh in. There will also be three $250 Bass Pro gift card awarded to three contestants at the weigh in ( must be present to win). This has been a fun tournament for many years thanks to our sponsors and the fishermen who make it possible. For more details and entry form visit www.MadDogMoore.com. Hope to see you there!

With this 25th anniversary of the tournament on September 11, 2021 it is looking like this may be our last tournament. At least in the way we are use to. As the year's have passed our board members are also getting older and a few of us are planning on retiring. There is a lot of work that goes into putting this tournament on and it's not possible with just a handful of people. We are looking at some possible options but we wanted to put it out there early, of the possibility that this will be the last. So, if you are able to attend this one, lets make it the best one yet! Hope to see you there!

You can easily help support the Mad Dog and the Shriner's Children's Hospital if you shop on Amazon by using Smile.Amazon.com and choosing the Mad Dog Moore Memorial Bass Tournament as you charity. It doesn't cost anything extra and its the same products that you would normally order. Amazon has just pleaded to donate to your charity of choice if you purchase this way. Thanks again for your years of continued support for this tournament.

The tournament is just a couple weeks away. PLEASE don't forget to get a current fishing license. They expire after August 31st. They get checked at registration and somebody always forgets.

If you are registering at tournament headquarters or purchasing raffle tickets, it is highly suggested that you use "cash". We are having some issues with our paypal card readers that we are working on and hope to have resolved. But, if you have the option of cash that will go smoother.

We are at Oakridge now getting ready for registration at 4. We have a large tent set up for shade. The BBQ is going and getting ready for tomorrow. Looks like nice weather. Come on out if you can make it.
