I enjoy watching the pros and I understand those who think it’s boring. However, yes the video game fishing has ruined watching the pros fish.

I bet if your income is base on how much you weight in you will be looking at that screen also. I did watch MLF and the tours until we cut back on the cable bill. I watch Jimmy and Roland and Ken Smith and others pros on YouTube in the day time because they is not anything worth watching on tv in the day time during the week. I also watch Texas insider fishing report very week for the bass reports, the same for Lets Fish. Oh by the I do watch Golf also.

I tend to watch less coverage when BPT and BASS hit the Northern swing part of the season. The anglers love it though and it must appeal to some fans that relate more to it. +1

The only thing worse than watching BPT is watching the BPT catch smallmouth. I would rather watch paint dry. Sorry for the honesty.

Sorry for the honesty. you probably aren't old enough to remember when there was no streaming,no TV and you had to wait 3 months until the magazine came out to find out who won a tournament even the classic?.... same when there was no Bass Pro Shop or tackle wearhouse...only source you had for fishing tackle was a local bait shop or a hardware store and a good fishing reel would cost you a week's pay....and there were no trolling motors,if you wanted to bass fish, you reted a leaky boat and carried a little outboard and paddle to get you around the lake...... be grateful that you have the options you do now instead of watching paint dry...

I love watching fishing and I never miss BASS and have tried BPT. Just seem like some have become egotistical actors as much or more than the fisherman they used to be I guess.

Before I started paying golf, i thought it was as boring watching a soccer game. But once i started paying golf, I found that I enjoyed watching golf. I could imagine how I would have hit the ball....mind you much different than the pro's did. Mine usually ended up in the woods or in the water. But...the point is once you participate in what they are doing you really cannot appreciate the effort they do put into catching those smallmouths or any fish. I really am not interested in watching any deep sea fishing, but I'm sure if I did do that type of fishing I would be very interested in it. Oh...and soccer is very, very boring for me to watch.

Not to mention that the lakes weren't as level back then as they are today. Had to paddle uphill both ways just to get to the best spots.
