This has got to be the weirdest way I've ever fished a crankbait but I'm glad I did! Learned a lot and will definitely try this again sometime soon.

Can tell your young..... nothing new working a ctankbait that way. Try it wilth a big ball squarebill during the spring and hold on tight.

I've gotten a bunch of comments and DMs this evening telling me this is a super popular strategy, but I'd never seen or heard of anyone doing it before. I also had someone tell me it's how they came up with the wakebait, which makes a lot of sense
