The crime rate has been dropping in America for over 3 decades.
So has DFW crime rate.

2020 was different in some areas of the country. I've seen it happen in years when it gets hotter than average. I suspect the same in places where it stays colder longer.

When democrats control cities, the murder rate skyrockets.

Sometimes I get stuck working in places I don't want to be, at times I don't want to be there.
Dallas ISD headquarters in South Dallas was one of those places. We really didn't want to come back the next day to finish, so we'll work until we're done. When it got dark, it was like the transformation took place, and not in any way a good thing. The only thing that kept the curious at bay was pulling out the automag in the shoulder holster.

About the same as working in Greenspoint in Houston or El Paso at night.

Saw this on the news a few minutes ago, Shooting/Murder in 85% in the last 2 yrs, I think it said 239(might have been higher) murders this yr.
I remember the Acevado(Old HPD Chief) said there would be 500 murders in Houston this yr, probably one of the
reason's he bailed and went to Miami

Not sure of when that was , but at one time the west Dallas projects were the largest housing project in the nation. It was a sh*t show!

Used to be a saying, "Every day is a holiday on Vilbig, because nobody works".

We have a foundry in Fair Park. it's in a horrible neighborhood where we regularly see drug deals go down. they even shot our guard dog. when you visit you have to park in the gated lot or your car is toast. it makes stop six look like a country club neighborhood.

Parts of Southlake are just terrible. In the bad parts, some of the MILFS drive SUVs that are at least 4 years old. Some don’t even have boob jobs. This area is going to hell.
