Maybe she'll let you clean the pool and grill some burgers while she and the kids swim?

Grilled burgers and cleaned the soul stealing hole yesterday. My kids are in their 20s and not interested in swimming at mom and dads, thank goodness

About 50/50, some years we go out and they pay, others they'll cook for me. Son is cooking Indian food for me this year.

Mine started yesterday and continues through today. Basically I chill and get taken care of like a king. It's good to be King boys.

We cooked yesterday and I smoked a brisket. Leftover brisket and eggs this morning, will have a brisket sandwich for lunch and tacos for dinner.

Be sure to float test the eggs before using them.

Going out to eat on a holiday is too much of a hassle, not to mention expensive. Buying steak to grill is ridiculous. Too much trouble digging to the bottom of my chest freezer to get out some venison. Recon my wife and oldest son will be going to buy Crispy Fried Chicken and a bunch of biscuits. With three sons and all the Grandkids probably dropping by without notice, it's hard to plan anything else. crazy
