We had a good day on Whitney yesterday. Caught 6 striper, 5 LMB, a nice smallmouth, a couple big channel cat and several big bream nearing a pound each! Always love the variety of fish at Whitney.

Lake is still really high, but going down around a foot per day. Lots of debris around so please be careful out there.

Where did you launch? Seems like the list if closures by the COr is not accurate.

Still plenty of smallies on Whitney. All Corps ramps were still closed. We heard Cliffview and Little Rocky were open. Lake Whitney Marina was closed too. We launched at Harbor Master.

I launched at Harbor Master yesterday. I had called the Corps office and yes the park ramps open July 2nd.

Yep. Hamm was closed Thursday, and Cedar Creek and McKown were closed yesterday. I launched at the Juniper Cove marina.

Glad Juniper Cove was open as Harbor Master was crazy last weekend. We caught a bunch of smaller striper and a few sandbass.
