Hi,
I have some cracks in the aluminum welds surrounding the bow eye bolt of my Xpress boat.
Any advice on getting this fixed? (Hopefully cheap)
Looking for a place to take it in the Dallas area.
Could I just take it to a general welding shop?
Thanks!

Little out of the Dallas area. But "Wells Aluminum Welding and Boat Repair" on Crowley Rd, in Ft. Worth should be able to get your cracks sealed up. They ain't fast though.

I had a buddy use McGills Propeller & Welding shop to get some work done on his boat. They are located in Lewisville. They repaired a few holes in his aluminum boat after hitting metal poles/rebar out on the water. I believe they charge a flat rate of $100 an hour or something close to that. They did a good job and it was done within a couple days. My dad has also bought many props from them over the years. http://www.mcgillprop.com/
