We had another great trip on a Mississippi River oxbow today catching whites with great regularity for about 4 hours. I was able to take a young man from my church this morning and he said he’d never seen anything like it. We caught somewhere in the 90’s today. We brought home 57 nice ones for a fish fry with our families on the 4th of July. (Mississippi has no white bass limit). Caught most on a spoon and a tail kicker, but the most fun was when we ran into a shallow school that came up chasing bait and hit a pop r for about 20 straight casts. Needless to say, it was another great day to be out enjoying God’s creation.
