Some You Tubers show practice on epoxied concrete floors or tiled floors. Not quite the same physics as on water.
My new SP reel is due in today from Tackle Warehouse!!!!
At Fort Worth Classic Expo there was only ONE on display. I heard Midway USA just got some in. They may be out by now.
Andy Montgomery told me at MLF Travis that there were over 1200 backorders two months ago.

BassNagg, can you please update us on your experience with it? I’ve also seriously considered the same reel for skipping.

Found one yesterday at the BPS in San Antonio. 50 mile one way trip but I got one. They had a couple more if anyone around there is looking. Or at least they did when I left. They did not have any rods though to match up with it but said some were coming in.

I just got mine late yesterday from TW. Filled reel with Yozuri Premium T7 (sure doesn't take much). Going to Conroe tomorrow morning for dock fest I hope. Will let you know results. That new VICTORY rod feels amazing so far.

What Victory rod did you get? Looking at a new rod and trying to figure out what is the best lure to learn how to skip with.

I got the 7-1 medium heavy with fast tip. It may be a bit too long but I can use it for lots of other applications. St. Croix is coming out with the same rod in 6-10 length for skipping in October. I believe the Victory series will have 12 different specific models eventually. There is a good You Tube clip about the development of this series. Worth the watch.
