The broadcast booth is toward the middle. A smaller exhibition hall is off the main hall of the same building. You exit the doors of the small exhibition hall to get to the ag barns with the vendors and the tent. They setup makeshift ventilation in the ag barns to try to help cool them but they ARE hot and stuffy. The Peanut Butter Whiskey booth was giving out samples. Interesting taste for sure.

There are some folks stationed directing traffic at the parking garage and surface lot entrances on Gendy Street. The direction of the attendants seemed a little random. I ended up in the garage and was glad not to come back to a scorching hot car at the end of the day

I got to put my hands on the new St Croix Victory rods. I think they are going to have a real winner for the $180-$200 price point. They only had the pre-release jerkbait rod to show me but color me impressed. It's going to be released this Fall for $180. Time will tell, but those that can't/don't want to shell out the dough for the Legend series will have to give the Victory line a strong consideration.

I didn't bother to stand in line for the giveaways but I did score on the 5 gallon Berkley Class bucket as far as swag goes. B&W Hitches had some pretty cool bottle openers and of course there were stickers and floaty keychains just about everywhere. I don't drive a Skeeter so I didn't bother with getting one of their caps.

You could buy the Phoenix boats that were on display. They work the deal through Fun N Sun. The silver and purple one is only *cough* *cough* $92995 rigged out pretty nicely.

The water suggestion is a smart one because you are going to pay event concession prices for refreshments. But if you're looking at a $93K Phoenix, I guess an $8 beer is chump change. LOL

Anyways, go out to the Expo and have some fun. It's pretty neat.

Like the post " first off i wouldn't go if you paid me" . I mean honestly what is to hate about The Super Bowl of Bass fishing. And an expo that is free with some of the biggest names in the game.

But then he had to ad in more hate. The lake being 58 miles from weight in is some kind of stupid.
First off I do believe BASS has been at the forefront of tournaments since day one. They also have put on a tournament or 2. And this isn't the first time weigh in has been an hour or so drive. If you are that down on The Bassmaster Classic then just dont post.

To all of those that get to go share some pics. Have a blast. Cowtown gets to shine this weekend. Im hoping Dickies Arena is filled to the max.

No hate....just stating my perspective.....I wouldn't go because I don't follow it....and I don't like tournaments that don't weigh and release on the spot.....that's just me.....well me, and 90% of the rest of the fisherman in the US

Sorry bud, you’re wrong here ^^^ 90% of fishermen want weigh & release? Nope. I love weigh ins. It’s great. We can grow more bass. It’s gonna be ok.

We went yesterday. We had a good time. Well set up and I would put the Saturday afternoon crowds at “medium”. We showed livestock in those livestock buildings for years. They are hot in the summer and cold in the winter always. Those whining about it being too hot out in those buildings: well I guess we will see y’all on the lake next October? Went and watched the “weigh in”. Yes they already have been weighed and it’s just for show but “oh well”. HINT: park down in the basement parking lot if you can and the elevator takes you right up into the coliseum into the middle of everything. We enjoyed it all. Favorite part? Dinner @ Flying Fish! Weigh in yes, at the lake of the tourney... simulated weigh in no, and it Shouldn’t be 1.5 hrs from the lake.

I was speaking to the 90 plus percent of fisherman that don't give a rats [censored] about tournaments Bubba

We were there yesterday and the highlight for me was getting to Bill Lowen walk in and his son jumping up and down, happy to see dad.

Awesome experience, thank you Fort Worth for bringing this to our backyard!!

If your a bass fisherman and you didn’t go you missed out…. come up with as many reasons as possible to convince yourself otherwise, those of us that attended know better.

My family really enjoyed going. In a perfect world you would prefer to have all of your Expo vendors in one building, but the reality is that the number of places that can host the EXPO and provide the lakes to do the Classic plus the College and High School tournaments is very short list. People act like there are tons of options to host this thing, but the reality is their options are very limited. This is the first time I have been to Dickies arena. It is a super nice place and really seemed like the perfect size. Congrats to BASS and Ft Worth on a great event!
