Yea, but they where too freaking close. I was shocked.

Maybe Cox should have practiced. Lol. 3 fish for 4 pounds? How is that even possible? A 14” bass weighs at least a pound and a half!

Ranger Z520 guy.

you can bet every competitor out there was thinking the same thing, they just can't say anything or it would affect their ability to attract sponsorship....

My favorite part of todays commentary was when Dave Mercer said the best thing about Ray Roberts is it hardly gets any pressure on a daily basis compared to other lakes in dfw which in reality its the exact opposite x3.

This just goes to show you how bad of info these guys get. They have ZERO clue about most fisheries the organization visits. The article about smallmouth being a player earlier in the year was comical as well.

X1000, theres some bad commentary this morning

Its prob a lot of events and we just dont know any better. Another thing I find interesting watching bass live is that their maps are completely wrong where the anglers are located.

That may be by design with spectators possibly being an issue

So why did they already spill the beans on the weights??? Figured they would keep the lakeside weights secret until the anglers walked the stage.

Other than the pressure comments I found it interesting that, "there just isn't that much standing timber in Ray Roberts."

To be honest, they were comparing it to Fork. But at 4ft high those areas look clear, and the timber isn't really on the main lake stuff they were fishing early.

I also found it interesting that so many pros found their way to the West Side!!!!

Really thought it would take 30#’s to be in the lead, too many fishing swallow or they are just too spread out. 23#’s is not what I expected
