The shopping was tackle and rods. The majority of the sales were in the exhibit buildings. Though Abu had Veritas - BOGO. Electronics were thin, and they had good booties, bit no deals posted.

Independent tackle shops and manufacturers had a pretty good setup in the hotter buildings.

It was a decent experience. Nice to see people out and about!!!

I find it amusing reading some of theses post. There words tell you how unhappy they are.

Like the post " first off i wouldn't go if you paid me" . I mean honestly what is to hate about The Super Bowl of Bass fishing. And an expo that is free with some of the biggest names in the game.

But then he had to ad in more hate. The lake being 58 miles from weight in is some kind of stupid.
First off I do believe BASS has been at the forefront of tournaments since day one. They also have put on a tournament or 2. And this isn't the first time weigh in has been an hour or so drive. If you are that down on The Bassmaster Classic then just dont post.

To all of those that get to go share some pics. Have a blast. Cowtown gets to shine this weekend. Im hoping Dickies Arena is filled to the max.

We went for awhile after work today. It was a ton of walking on a gimp knee. Wanted to check out some G Loomis rods but there was none. Did watch a few anglers weigh in. Tripp was back as honorary weigh master.

I enjoyed walking around the Expo today. Saw a legend,.., Bill Dance. I wasn't looking to buy anything.. just looking. Gerald Swindle was in the Phoenix booth, signing hats and stuff. I know they are a sponsor of the BPT, but I was surprised to not see a Googan Baits booth.

I had a good visit with my nephew too!
It was a good afternoon

There is a googan baits booth. I was wrong that green wall was reaper baits.
Sorry googan wasnt there probably because of that $24 square foot.

For you all that go…enjoy it, soak up the atmosphere and just be happy you are getting to go with all that has happened in the past year or so with COVID.
It was a bummer last year in Birmingham with COVID messing up everything. Hopefully in the next few years they will come back and maybe fish Lay Lake or Logan Martin.

That was before we knew about covid but I know what you are saying, there were a bunch of people that got sick there including the guy that won.

I have lived a half hour from Ray Roberts since I was in High school. 20 years later they have a bassmaster here. The only thing that could make this better would be if they would have held the expo and weigh in in Denton. I enjoyed the expo and hope to get to watch them launch on Sunday...

No tickets needed for anything. Only thing that costs money is parking. As far as I know Dickies arena is only open for weigh in

Thanks Mark,
I love direct answers to a question...
