Anyone fish Lake Hamilton in AK and have any tips?

As a suggestion, a lot more detail from you would be helpful !!
When are you going, guided trip , target fish, your expectations , purpose of trip and so on.

If you’re talking about AKarnsas suggest going to nearby Lake Oauchita or float the Oauchita River. 🎣

You can actually head up river out of Hamilton and fish behind ouachita dam and there’s also somewhere on Hamilton where some cooler water comes in and there’s a lot of smaller Striper by their standards but nice fish IMO. Clear water and lots of summer traffic. I do not have much experience only been on Hamilton one time A guide would really help on Striper fishing but there are also other species of fish that can be caught lots of playful bass in those Arkansas lakes :-)

thanks for the reply and sorry for the mistake. It would be AR= Arkanas. I've been on it twice before and fished up by the damn with no luck. I did catch a couple hybrids and walleyes near where the cold water turns over. I'm also going to try my luck for trout.

Does Arkansas have a forum such as this one ?? Could be part of your intel gathering, the local chamber of commerce in Hot Springs might add some light .

I'm only finding general fishing reports from a couple years ago.
