I lost my brother-in-law last month to brain cancer after a 2 year battle (35 yrs old with a 8 and 4 yr old - and the best damn guy you could ever meet) .. watching the toll the cancer takes (and more so the treatments), i cant tell you how impressive it is that Amart is still giving it a shot, knowing exactly what he's going through... my prayers are with his wife and kids.. it is a nasty disease and as unforgiving as anything ive ever seen.. may god provide them all comfort on this journey

I don't even want to see the pic this breaks my heart and reminds me of Glenn Browne who fished until the end, many prayers to the Martens.

A-Mart has been an angler that I have followed for years. It breaks me up seeing this. I know he's not letting it impact him, but the pictures on FB will bring any mans eyes to water.

Prayers continued for his strength and pulling through this.

CANCER SUCKS!

I grew up around his home lake, Castaic. Never really knew him but he was an emerging rock star then, hoping he's able to power through this. It's got to be difficult when the mind is willing but the flesh is weak.

I have always liked the guy, he is a hell of a fisherman, hope it all works out well for him and his family.

Hard to hear Aaron is having a mega struggle. That picture of him lying on the deck fishing is a tough see. I have been lucky to ride a day twice with Aaron at the TTBC and Bassfest. My favorite guy to ride with. Heck of a nice guy. Mega talented tournament fisherman. Solid family guy.

Prayers go out to Aaron and his family.

I've had cancer and chemo treatments. I know the toll it takes. Prayers go out to Aaron and his family as his effort is beyond amazing. May God give him relief and peace.
