It's an investment to me.

I would think someone riding along as an "observer", during what is the biggest tournament in professional bass fishing, would not do anything to distract or bother the anglers by conducting a question session during tournament hours.

That mindset of "your investment" is exactly the reason some anglers do not like the marshal program.

A better question may be, how do you think an angler would act if he turned around to see somebody dropping the kids at the pool in his livewell? Lol

Yep or if you don't clear the splash well

I wouldn't dream of impacting anyone in such a large event. The pros have their rules and will tell you before they start. I'm like to think I'm pretty intuitive around attitudes and how they would act / respond.

This is their day...never would I ruin that for them. But if they were open and talking about things, I would listen and respond.

One of our days is a practice day so maybe it will be a little less stressful and can talk a bit depending on who I draw

Not to mention a lot of these pros guide after the season ends. Why not pay 500 and get to fish with them.

This is a legit question

I got lucky enough to draw Palaniuk and Greg Vinson a few years ago at Travis. You just go as you normally would while fishing, they drive so much faster than anyone chasing them that you get time right after making a run.

The way they fish during a tournament is definitely something to see first hand. Worth the experience to me. I got lucky and they were both explaining everything they were doing and thinking, I learned a lot.

Yes. They always have enough. They have a list of backups on call as well.
