 Port Aransas Jetties Repairs

Does anyone know when the Port Aransas Jetty repairs are scheduled to finish?
There are a number of barges along Harbor Island Drive moored right in the way of the few little beaches that are normally excellent fishing spots for shore bound anglers. It's a shame they couldn't anchor those barges a little distance from those access points. Nobody seems to care.

Been following closely. The South Jetty reported the other day that the jetties would be open for Memorial Day weekend, and that work would begin again June 1. No finishing date was mentioned. To this point I think it's unknown. Shame too because I'll be there June 5-12 and I had big plans to throw big spoons for jacks, reds, and kings.
I'm not a chick.

Any update on how the repairs are going? I will be there at the end of July and hoping they are finished by then.
