For those of you who has a pellet grill do you regret your purchase and what are the pros/cons. I have some coupons from academy and one is $100 off $500 or more and expires 5/30, already used the $10 off any purchase. This will stay at the lake so not like ill cook on several times a week. Thanks in advance Jeff

I have the Traeger Renegade Pro. 22” wide I love the way it smokes. Haven’t tried to grill on it, but looks straight forward.
BIL has Rectec. He really loves it as well.
Pros—simple, solid temp, consistent
Cons-could be larger, should have gotten the WiFi version

have used the traeger here a couple of times, works good and I like the push the button to light vs getting a stick burner going. I bought a vertical pellet smoker for the lake but have only used it once, worked great on some pork tenderloin.

In he market for one & have narrowed it down to either a RecTeq of Pit Boss. Probably go with the RecTeq unless I find a great deal on a Pit Boss.
Reality. What a concept!

I've had my RecTeq for almost a year now. Only regret is I wished I had gotten one sooner.

I have a Camp Chef Woodwind. No regrets. Everything that I have cooked on it has come out perfect. For Mothers day my wife made shrimp Alfredo in a cast iron skillet and I cooked it on the camp chef for 20 minutes at 400 degrees. All I can say is that was the best shrimp Alfredo I have ever had.

I have the pit boss and love it. Never been the kind of guy that has to have the most expensive of everything. I just gave my sister that same academy coupon so she could get one.

I have a Yoder and a Camp Chef Pursuit for the camper, only regret would be the cost of the pellets.

Pit Boss KC Combo here. Just wish I had found this sooner. The only con I can think of, is that I can cook breakfast lunch and dinner on this thing. Which now means I’m doing most of the cooking now. We had an electric grill, gone. Had my trusty Weber, gone. This Pit Boss does it all and I can control functions on my phone. Absolutely love it. Good luck with whatever you choose but seriously give this a look!

I have a Trager, love pellet smokers, but would absolutely not get another Trager. I've had endless problems with the wifi connection which is one of the more useful tools. Customer service has been useless helping me to fix it.

Trust your own instinct. Your mistakes might as well be your own, instead of someone elses.

I have a Traeger.. I think it was like 1500.00 and it is unreal. No effort.. Put stuff on, go to bed, watch TV, take a nap, etc. Don't know why i did not buy one sooner.
