This is a fish I caught last week at choke. It's kind of yellow so I'm thinking a bullhead? It tasted awful but not like mud, maybe silt or sand flavor? I still don't know if I accidentally snagged him or he was chasing it and snagged himself.

Channel Catfish (Ictalurus punctatus).

It is colored like a Chanel cat, but it’s hard to see his tail. It’s a channel cat, it will have a forked tail, a bullhead will have a straight tail.
