Thanks, SoCal Tom. Good to know it had no effect on advancing in the tournament.

I think it weighed over 1 lbs. and likely 1-6 might have been the actual result. I assume the official just misread the scale.

So, did anyone else watch this, see the bass that supposedly weighed 2-6? I may have missed discussion regarding it at some earlier time. But, I don't see any posts about it.

Dustin skied the little bass back to the boat and just before he hooked it to the scales, Dustin said "You better weigh," or words to that effect, hoping the fish was a pound or more to add to his total. The official then announced 2-6 and I was just stunned. For sure, I know viewing perspectives can be way off but I sort of think it might have been 1-6 and the official just misread the scale???

Anyway, no reflection on Connell as it is no fault of his. He's a fine angler.

Curious if anything was said or written about this here or elsewhere.

Brad

Bro you posted the wrong thing on here. There are so many mlf nut-huggers on here that if you post anything questioning it you are going to get crucified. Good luck. I learned my lesson.
