It is outage season for power plants. Interesting. I would have thought it was mid February when I had no power for three and a half days. The whole melting snow to heat water on the charcoal grill for hot water bags, cooking on the "decorative" gas fireplace, inside temps were a balmy 39 degrees, would have made me believe that in February was when the power plants were in outage season.

Abbott will take care of it. If he can't, Patrick will. If he can't, Paxton will. Good luck. Your president said he was going to fix it, must have slipped his mind. Texas doesn't want any help from the feds. That's why they started their own grid to start with. If they did help, Paxton would probably sue them over something the next day just to remind them of that fact but still take the money. We are most likely on our own just like our leaders want. Where's the Rainy Day Fund when we need it?

The wind doesn’t always blow and the sun doesn’t always shine. Natural gas was the real culprit. Wind and solar the scapegoats. Abbott better get his arms wrapped around this, or he may be the scapegoat. People are tired of the blame game.
