Never fails, almost every April for our yearly Saturday "Bassorama", north Texas is having a cold front come through with a drop in temperature and nasty BS winds out of the north gusting to 25 mph.

My question is given it's this time of the year and spawn, and the temp dropping only 10-12 degrees, how much of an impact do y'all think it will have on the bite?

If it happens every year you would think Champs would get the hint from the lake. Go to a different lake and let poor Roberts rest a year for Peat's sake. Fish have been biting nicely some places and you would think there are no fish in the lake if you are off by just a little. At least this is how it has been for us lately.

Weather always worse on weekends. 9-5'ers can't catch a break

Don't affect spawners unless water temp was already at 60-61 and drops 5+ degrees in my opinion.

Still shows a high in the mid 70's, don't think it will do much to them to be honest.

If your worried about conditions affecting the bite - you've already lost.

Just cuz I'm not eating don't mean someone else isn't. Fish aren't any dzaifferent. Find the ones eating and find out how to catch um. Weather makes it a little tougher but not impossible. They still gotta eat at some point. If you don't catch um you didn't find them. Happens to me all the time haha.

The fish either keep you busy all day long, or they leave you alone to drink beer, thoughtful little buggers. Just wish they would help me cut down on my beer budget more often.
