1) Zoom Baby Brush Hog - Introduced to me by a really good friend of mine 2) Zoom 6" Lizard - Found on my own 3) Roboworm 4" straight tail - Same friend as the brush hog, introduced me to these 4) 7" Power Worm - Found on my own 5) Yum Dinger - Found on my own
Anything found on my own...I took a risk and thought it would be the same or produce results when others wouldn't

There is no "top 5."
The only texas rig one would need to throw no matter conditions or water color is a watermelon red baby brush hog, end of discussion.

It's a testament to the bait that after all these years, so many people still put the Baby Brush Hog near the top of their list.

What are your top 5 Texas-rigs and who turned you on to them?
1. Berkley 7" Blue Fleck Power Worms - Monte Coon - my go-to when nothing else is working
2. Baby Brush Hog - found on my own, but Greg Stanley and James Beach got me fishing them with an offset round bend hook
3. YUM Wooly Hawgtail - found on my own
4. YUM Dinger - Lindy Roberts introduced me to fishing them wacky-rigged with an o-ring, but I later found I also liked them on a 1/16th oz. Texas-rig
5. Grande Bass Rattlesnake - Jerry Shinn James Beach...that's a name I haven't heard of in a long while. He and I fished together at Lake Comedero probably 20 years ago. What's his handle on here J.P.?

Craw tube - Ernie when he was with LFT turned me onto these. Wish LFT still made em, only have a few left!!!
Senko - Watching Roland Martin
Beaver - You can only get your rear beat by a guy flipping a beaver for so long before trying them. Glad I did.
Tornado - Learned about these on the TFF.
BBH- The ole baby brush hawg, fella named Tom Mocney turned me onto these. They flat catch fish.
