Reports are that they are building a store in Plano and one in Frisco. Will be open in Fall of 2022.
Never been to one, other than Central Market. What makes them so much better?

Most HEB's are very well stocked and clean. I prefer a lot of the HEB brand foods over name brand. They also have some awesome meal deals all the time.

Brian I worked at Minyards Food Stores for 28 years, I managed for 25 of those years- So that’s where what I will say about H‑E‑B comes from, for whatever that’s worth-
It’s about the best ran grocery store chain I have ever seen. Not imperfect for sure, but they do what they do very good. Not saying other chains that have survived the last 20 years aren’t good chains, mine did not survive as others did.
But it’s my favorite store to shop for groceries, hands down. I buy all the groceries for my household, I always have, even before I retired, I don’t just go when steaks are on sale somewhere.
I just find better service, well stocked stores consistently with them.
What has happed to you does not define who you are-
HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!

100% accurate. I grew up in San Antonio and shopped only at HEB. Even the HEB brand of anything is great. Unfortunately every year HEB will buy up some land in North Texas, just to sell it later on. I just can't get excited about it any longer until I see the sign and ground breaking. They also own land up here off 380, but heard they may not end up building there either.

All over down here. Its just like any other store. If its in good neighborhood then it will be clean with a lot of Milf’s. Not so good neighborhood then you get the product of the environment.

H.E.B. has a plot of land in Allen at Exchange / Hwy 5 land banked at this point. They have owned it 5 to 6 years but no signs of building. I know a lot of folks are excited if this will ever happen.

HEB is great. Has been ranked the #1 grocery store in the nation for several years. Well stocked clean and they have great prices. One thing I like is they have coupons all over the store for deals.

They bought property in Midlothian years ago but never built a store there.
