If you are turning right at an intersection onto a multilane road, turn into the right hand lane. If you are turning left at an intersection onto a multilane road, turn into the left hand lane. Back when I taught Drivers Education this is what we taught. But no one takes drivers ed anymore, that’s why there’s such terrible drivers on the road. Ugh...not this again. When turning left, you can turn into ANY LAWFULLY AVAILABLE LANE. Period. Texas Transportation Code § 545.101. Turning at Intersection

When using the on ramp use the gas pedal and accelerate. Also if a lane is closed ahead, stay in the lane as long as possible and do not use your blinker to forcibly merge.

If you are turning right at an intersection onto a multilane road, turn into the right hand lane. If you are turning left at an intersection onto a multilane road, turn into the left hand lane. In Texas you are allowed to choose any lane. Maybe so, but it's a good way to get into a wreck, especially where both lanes can turn. Multiple turning lanes is a different scenario. Most of the time, the multiple turning lanes are marked all the way through the intersection. Unfortunately, a lot of people STILL don't understand how to stay in their own lanes.

That’s just a recipe for disaster; especially the bottom picture.

Left lane is for passing only! Pass the person in the right lane and get the heck over! Oh and if you aren't doing at least the speed limit, then don't be in the left lane. THIS^^^

When hurling insults at your fellow drivers, do not reference their gender and/or ethnicity. Keep it light and creative...don’t be hurtful.

If you missed a turn, own it and move forward until you can get in a lane that you can turn and head back to where you wanted to turn in the first place. Do not hold up two lanes of traffic waiting to turn.

YES!!!! I see this more and more...and the same goes for if you miss your dang exit. If you are in the left lane and your exit is 3 lanes over on the right, get over AT LEAST 1/2 MILE before...preferably 1 mile, but come on! If you miss it, just exit the next one and get on with it. Don't make others pay for your inattention/idiocy.

Just because it's raining, it doesn't mean it's a hazard and you need to turn on your hazard lights.

Don't try to pass a long line of cars to cut in line and then get mad when I won't let you in. You can, however, flip me off if that makes you feel better.

My big gripe is open highway related.
Because I live out in the boonies we have to drive open highways, many with improved shoulders. If you are making a right hand turn use that improved shoulder to let traffic behind you maintain near their highway speeds. See this all the time when on a high speed roadway (we're a 75mph county) and someone will slow down and then put on a blinker and might move half way onto the shoulder then turn into a driveway or side road. Meanwhile traffic behind them is shutting it down, sometimes to a near stop to avoid them.
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.
